Upcoming Service Changes:

 

Service Revision - May 25, 2025

 

- Routes 5/6: Will no longer use Marble St. when arriving to and departing from the Blandin Hub.  Routes will also experience timing adjustments throughout the schedule. 

- Route 7: Buckley Apartments and Franklin St. / Mt. Wayte Ave added as scheduled stops.  Route will experience timing adjustments throughout the schedule. 

- Routes 10/11: W. Natick MBTA at Kendall Plaza added as a scheduled stop.  Avenue apartments will now be serviced on a request basis only. 

- Route 14: Will experience timing adjustments throughout the schedule.

- Route 15: Will be incorporated to the new 495 Connnector Route; Walmart, Boston Scientifc, Stop & Shop, and the Marlborough Hospital will be removed from the schedule and serviced by Catch Connect. See more details below!

- MathWorks Framingham: Evening schedule will start 45 minutes earlier, and will now drop off for the Natick Center 3:52/4:07 trains.  New run added from Natick Mall to Eagle Rock Apartments back to MathWork Campuses.  There will be timing adjustments throughout the schedule.

- MathWorks Natick: Evening schedule will remove the recently added West Natick stop, and adjust time points accordingly.  The 5:15 timepoint at Apple Hill has been re-added.

*NEW ROUTE* 495 Connector: A pilot route connecting three different MBTA Commuter Rail lines to eight MetroWest Communities.

Travelling mostly via Route 85, the 495 Connector will provide convenient intermodal connections to the South Acton, Soughborough, and 495 Forge Park (Franklin) MBTA Commuter Rail stations, with stops in eight different MetroWest communities.

The 495 Connector aims to enhance travel convenience, expecially for those along the 495 corridor.  During peak commute hours, the bus will travel between the three Commuter Rail stations, stopping at key downtown locations along the way.  Durring midday, the route will operate as a fixed route service, travelling between Milford (Milford Crossing) and Hudson (Highland Commons), with stops in Hopkinton, Southborough, and Marlborough.

Catch Connect - NEW Service in Milford & Hopedale!

 

Effective May 27, 2025 - Catch Connect will now operate in Milford and Hopedale. This service will operate Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM. Please see below for the map and details! Call (508) 283-5083 with any questions.

MWRTA is Fare Free through June 30, 2025!

 

All MWRTA services will remain fare free through next year.  Fixed Route riders will not need to show or tap a Catch Card to qualify - simply board the bus and your fare is free! 

Free fare will automatically be applied to any Catch Connect and Demand Response trips.

Up-to-the-Minute Bus Route Info

MWRTA is participating in Google Transit - click here and then type in your directions to utilize this service. Use the Google Transit Trip Planner to get step-by-step transit directions in your web browser. Enter a starting and ending address or destination serviced by MWRTA and you will be given schedule and fare information for navigating the bus system.

The Google Transit Trip Planner is also available for some mobile phones by navigating to http://m.google.com/maps in your mobile browser. You may also get directions to and from the MBTA service area into and out of the MWRTA service area.

The MWRTA is now accepting your old, tattered, or otherwise damaged American Flags at the Blandin Hub for proper disposal.

Customer Service will be happy to take your flag(s,) which will be placed in a designated container to be properly disposed of at a later date.
